What a brilliant little product ideal for packing away when going on holiday

This shaver is lightweight, compact and with its travel pouch ideal for taking out when you are on the move. It is close to silent when switched on. It really does provide a close shave and provides a very pleasing smooth result. Definately the best travel shaver I have ever used.

I’ve been waiting for this modern iteration of this Philips classic for a while now. I must say that I haven’t been disappointed. The sleek design of the Philips 700 series S791/06 Wet & Dry Electric Compact Shaver fits well in the hand and the swipe on and off function is easy to use. The new magnetic motor is extremely quiet and at the same time very powerful giving a smooth shave. It is quick to charge and the battery life is impressive. I look forward to this razor being a faithful travel companion for many years to come.

The size of the unit, plus its accessories makes it ideal for use outside of the home. It takes up so little space. The closeness of the shave amazed me - far better than my current series 5000. Its quiet in operatation too.

This is a great trade razor that really does the job. Very close shave as good as the lager models of electric razors. Quick to charge either with cable or wireless with charge pad. So quiet I cam bearly hear the motor running. Ideal for travel or everyday use, can be used wet or dry. The added bonus of a nose trimer also, this razor is just perfect for the man about town.

I’ve been using the Philips Shaver 7000 Series and overall I’m very pleased with it. It gives a comfortable and close shave without putting too much pressure on the skin. The flexible shaving heads move nicely around the contours of the face, especially around the jaw and neck. I particularly like that it can be used both wet and dry. Using it with shaving foam gives an even more comfortable experience, while dry shaving is quick and convenient when I’m in a hurry. It’s also easy to clean under running water. The battery life is good and the shaver feels well made and comfortable to hold. The shave is not quite the same as using a traditional razor if you want an extremely close, completely smooth finish, but for everyday shaving it does a very good job. Pros: * Comfortable shave * Wet and dry use * Good battery life * Easy to clean * Flexible heads follow the face well * Good build quality Cons: * Can take a little longer than a razor to get a very close shave * Replacement blades can be expensive A very good electric shaver for everyday use. It’s comfortable, convenient and easy to maintain, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality rotary electric shaver.

Bought this as a travel razor given the small and compact form factor. It is good in that regard, but as an actual shaver it falls short. It often misses hairs and leaves a razor burn, which I've never experienced with other shavers to this degree before. Not a good razor for the price-point. I was forced to swap to disposable razors while I travelled.

Unfortunately, it seems, looks, and works more like a toy than a real shaver. Some other people might find it satisfactory but I have difficulty imagining that. It is VERY disappointing.
