PerfectCare Steam Generator 8000 SeriesGarment care

This is a replacement for the one I had for 10 years! Really light but will say very noisy - my old one didn't make as much noise .

I’m replacing with a similar iron that has packed up after 5 years This is an Amazing iron, it’s so light and makes ironing quick and easy, that I actually enjoy ironing. Will always buy a Philips iron, as they are such good quality

I bought this steam generator iron to replace an iron that had stopped working, I was very apprehensive at first as it was a lit pf money and I had never spent that amount of money on an iron before. I' glad I did as I love it, it makes ironing a joy to do and an absolute breeze. This is by far the best iron I have ever had and I would recommend it to anybody thatlikes their clothes looking sarp and crease free.

After my previous Phillips steam iron gave up the ghost after 20 years of loyal service. I decided to replace it with the newest Phillips iron and I’m so glad I did, it really does ‘glide’ and is so much faster than my Previous one, it is expensive but well worth while. Definitely recommend it.

I was really happy with this steamer. It took only a couple of minutes to heat up and then worked great from the first pass on a shirt. I tried it horizontally and vertically. I can’t decide which way I liked more! The clothes didn’t get wet, which I was concerned about, they stayed dry, so no smelly clothes. If you want to put a crease in something, it works great too.

I absolutely adore using this steam generator! It almost feels more like playing air hockey than ironing! It glides a so effortlessly across clothes as the creases simply melt away. I love that the ironing plate is so large, and yet so light, as it helps me get through our family’s ironing in no time. I was a little disappointed that it is slightly too long to fit on the iron rest of my ironing board, but this isn’t a big issue for me as I work near a bench and the hose has plenty of length. The large, sturdy handle makes it easy to move this wonder around, though I feel that it makes the machine slightly larger than it needs to be even when it is folded down. The de-calc is well designed in that it doesn’t have a filter that needs to be changed—simply give the machine a gentle shake after it has cooled down and pour the water out of the plug in the side. I would definitely recommend this steam generator to anyone who wants to make ironing less of a chore and more of a delight!!!

I really loved this product! It quickly irons clothing easily. It’s portable and easy to move and I like that it can fit up to 1.4L so I hardly need to refill it. It glides easily over clothing leaving them. I thought that maybe for someone else who wasn’t very used to steam irons that the instruction photos weren’t very clear on how to use and may have needed words. But I found it very simple to use.

Phillips Steam Generator 8000 Series With its Powerful steam makes ironing faster! The steam function is automatic and its a great option which helps with time management. It has a self adjusting temperature control on fabrics, i found this was fantastic as it saves time adjusting temperatures according to fabric you are ironing helping me iron everything at once rather than waiting for temperature controls to adjust to fabrics, with alot of delicate fabrics i worry i will burn them if the iron is to hot with this sensational product no need to worry about that as it has a built in option to not burn fabrics. I literally ironed bed sheets and doona covers so quick rather than continuously rearranging the sheets on the ironing board it truly was quick and easy so time efficient! I no longer need a few hours to do ironing in my family anymore this Phillips steam generator is the best product out there i will be recommending to family and friends as soon as available! Great job Phillips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was genuinely impressed by how much time this steam generator saved me. The steam output is incredibly powerful and easily tackles stubborn creases on everything from business shirts to thick bed linen. The automatic steam feature feels intuitive and adjusts perfectly as you move, making ironing much less effort than with a traditional iron. I also love the peace of mind that comes with the no burn OptimalTEMP technology, especially when switching between different fabrics.
