Why is the picture in Philips TV is displayed in red and green or the color red is missing when the TV is connected to an accessory device through component cables.

  • Verify that all the plugs are connected to the inputs of the corresponding colour.

  • Push the component cables all the way into the YPbPr sockets on the back of the TV to ensure firm connection.

  • When the problem is not resolved, try testing the TV with another accessory device to confirm whether the problem lies with the accessory device or the TV.
