The preparation needed for software upgrade depends on the upgrade method you choose: If you upgrade the software of the player via network, make sure: * The internet connection to your player is properly set up * There is no disc inside the player. Eject any disc before you perform any software upgrade. If you upgrade the software via USB: * Read carefully the readme file which is available in the product support site providing the firmware * Follow the instructions in the readme file to download the firmware into a USB flash drive * Make sure there is no disc inside the player.
