Is the flashing light of my Philips Lumea safe for my eyes?

Published on 18 October 2024

To avoid eye damage, do not use Lumea close to or on the eye, eyelid or eyebrow. Use Lumea only below the cheekbones.

Note: never use Lumea on the male beard.

To avoid eye discomfort, always use Lumea in a well-lit room. Your eyes are more sensitive to stray light in darker conditions.

Should I wear protective eyewear while using Philips Lumea?

No. While not necessary for safety, you may wear sunglasses or goggles for your convenience if you find the light uncomfortable or too bright.
