Maybe an incorrect power supply connection causes this problem. Please make sure that the AC adaptor is connected to the jack of DC IN 12V on the lateral of the small display. Then we can use the supplied power cord to connect the small display and the DVD player via the jack of DC out( on the small display) and that of DC IN 12V( on the DVD player).
