Check in the settings menu of the accessory device whether the format is set to 16:9
Check in the settings menu of the TV whether PictureFormat is on AutoFormat
Some broadcastings are in 16:9 format and display in a different format. The result is that you see black bars on the screen of the TV.
Sometimes the picture format settings of the TV cannot compensate for this.
