Micro music system

the system is easy to use good reception with the dab radio. Plays mp3 discs fine and also docking system is good. Sound quality is very good and i am very pleased overall with it. Would recommend to other people if they asked about it.

Ticked all the boxes for me, DAB+ radio, CD player and iPod dock. Sonically very good for its size. This unit is for use in the kitchen and has the advantage of mounting to the wall so great for keeping out the way of spillages! After looking at other manufacturers I couldn't find anything to rival this product within the £150.00 price range. In summary a punchy little unit with all the features you need for a product of this type. Highly reccomended!

The unit looks good and sounds good but like another reviewer I find that although the radio (both FM and DAB) tune in there is no audio from the radios after the dock has been used. Powering down and back up fixes this. This must be a firmware bug. The blurb says that it does not charge Ipod Classic, well my Ipod Classic indicates that it is being charged but it does not react to the remote control which is annoying. The main unit is nicely designed; the remote, although perfectly functional, feels a bit cheap which is a shame.

I love my radio/CD/Ipod unit but suddenly find now the dock compartment will not close, please advise how I remedy this problem. It no longer looks good.

Poor DAB transmission. Poor power to DAB aerial distance means interference. User Manual instructions for DAB incorrect. Unit is not capable of retaining clock setting when power interrupted.

A well-styled and szed product but is sensitive to DAB and FM signals. I replaced a DAB radio, in the same position, and although all DAB and FM stations were located by the auto search, few - including all BBC stations - would play successfully. apparently due to signal strength. Smooth Radio and Classic Radio played but not any BBC station. All had been received and played on the previous radio. Advice from Philips was to move it somewhere else and not use it where I had bought it for!! Also, they advised that there was no way I could connect an external aerial to the device. The hand-set was not easy to use with delays in the main unit's responses.

Device always showing wrong time (gets from DAB). Phillips recommended upgrading software to solve this problem. This did not fix the problem but did create more. Now need to fully reset unit every time iPod dock used to restore sound on the radio. Phillips will not help in returning software to previous version. Very annoyed!!
