Clock Radio

Great clock radio/alarm with heaps of features, didn't think I would use the Bluetooth feature but I love it, can listen to my own music while drifting off. Alarm that starts off quiet and slowly increases in volume is a great feature as it doesn't come on blaring and waking up everyone else in the house. Highlighly recommend this to everyone

great bluetooth great antenna for radio and etc. the speaker is 1 x 2 ,4 best speaker grat for music on your iphone and ipad i loved it got it from my Mum and Dad it was 70 dollas at jb hi fi

We purchased this radio for our caravan, so far we are very happy with it, works well, and has great sound. The only drawback is that only the clock and alarm work off battery, would have been nice for the complete unit to work on battery power.

When the AL1 function is set the diodes flash. I have to touch the source button once to turn off FM, then again to turn on FM and then zZ to select period. If I touch zZ when AL1 diodes are flashing , it changes the station!!! Crazy programming and very irritating

Good features;ajustable display brightness;USB port,can charge mobile Phn,large volume knob.Bad features;very hard to select favourite stns!,when selecting DAB [MW] stns.FM stns also come up have to troll through unwanted stns.Should have slider-selector for source & tuning knob,like my old radio.instead of 3 buttons

The instructions in the "Quick Start Guide" are very poorly written and do not appear to have adequate, easily followed and efficient steps to achieve a simple set-up process. The step-by-step flow of the instructions and the diagrams are very confusing and need to be re-written with every sequential step included. It is very disappointing that after a number of years of your customers providing very constructive criticism on this issue Philips have failed to review these instructions for their future customers. I frustratingly went through the set-up process so many times before I could operate the unit to an acceptable level. A simple one step ON and OFF button for the radio would also be useful as toggling through the four functions of the SOURCE button is very cumbersome and frustrating process. This is another area that Philips have completely neglected to include in their Operating Instructions. Radio sound quality is good and a smart phone parking dock with USB charging and Bluetooth streaming are all very convenient features.

I still have no idea how to set the alarm on this thing. I have succeeded by pure fluke. Also, when you want to switch it off rather than snooze it, the button is tiny and difficult to find. Very expensive for what it is.

We spent over 45 minutes trying to get the clock radio up and running. Finally managed to set the time ... but so stressed and arguing ... that we will leave the rest to another day! The instructions were just diabolical to try and work out! And .. so difficult to read. We had to find a very strong light and then a magnifying glass to see most of them. My husband has more patience than I ... I wanted to throw the thing out the window!!! Why can't big companies be more kind to people trying to set up what should be a simple thing. Wishing I had kept my simple old (over 30 years) clock radio ... or simply bought a cheap one. I am hoping that one day, when I can bring myself to it .. I can work out the radio and the other features. It may be a very good clock radio but it is very difficult to work out the instructions.

This is my second one of this model - but setting it up is very difficult. My husband set-up the 1st unit (he has since passed away) and I just purchased a new one as the other one fell off bedside table and no longer worked at all. I realise now he only managed to the time and 1 radio station and we didn't have radio alarm function working either. Silly me has had not much luck even doing that with much success. But the thing that really annoyed me is even your technical assistance when i rang couldn't follow the instructions effectively because they are very badly written.
