2000 SeriesAir Purifier for Large Rooms

I bought this AC2887 model for my lounge and the cheaper AC1215 for my bedroom. I love this AC2887 model. The HEPA filter is over 50% thicker. The fan is different and is quieter and produce a more soothing white noise. These two points alone is enough to justify the higher price. I highly recommend this model if you can afford it.

This is one of the best air purifier I’ve ever used. My bedroom is pretty near to my kitchen so everytime I cook something or open the window, cooking smell and other fine dust would make it through my bedroom which made me cough and sneeze non stop especially in the morning. After buying this air purifier, those problem has solved completely. Cooking smells and dust are completely gone, and my sleep has improved dramatically with little to no coughing and sneezing in the morning. I’ve also notice dust that I used to see in the air has completely gone now which suggest to me that it does purifier the air.

We bought this due to allergies. Combined with a PIV (Positive Input Ventilation) to sort condensation and ventilation in our home, the air purifier have been working full time for the past 3 years and supplying a clean and fresh air. People need to remember that together this product, you need to keep your house clean. Excessive dust will clog the filters and reduce its efficiency/life span dramatically, and it is not cheap keeping replacing the HEPA and Carbon filters. However, that is a price you pay if you suffer from allergies and need a clean house and clean air.

This is a fantastic product, cleans the air gets rid of any smells . Keeps the place cool also

I got this product for my sons room, he suffers terrible with allergies and is on prescription antihistamines.After just one week the changes have been miraculous.Some say it's expensive I would say cheap for what you get out of it and after all you do get what you pay for.If I could sum it up in one word PERFECT

[Employee of philipsglobal] i am really pleased with this model of air filter, being a hay fever sufferer i was skeptical wether this would help or not. i had read good reviews about the product and buy one, the on phone app works well and great that i can check the air purity of my room while i am away and switch the unit on before i arrive home. no sign of my hayfever this year so a big plus for me..

Researched this product and it came out the best product to buy, it wasn't wrong really pleased with it, light weight so can be moved from room to room, on silent you cant hear it.

We bought this unit after being concerned about the quality of the city air - both short and long term effects. I have to say, that we do not regret the purchase. Not only does it make a noticeable difference, but also has saved me from some rather miserable runny nose mornings that I used to suffer from before. But the cleaner air definitely makes a significant difference, especially if you suffer from allergies - but better regardless, especially if you are in a city where pollutants are present. It is easy to use and has customisable settings, which allow us to ramp it up when we need to avoid particular allergens. The smart tech allowing the unit to connect to the wifi is also great, allowing us to switch the unit on and off remotely - great for when we commute back from work and want the unit on before we arrive. The only thing I do wish was possible was a compatibility with Apple HomeKit which would allow me to automate this a bit more. Other than that, really happy with the three stage filter, with the first pre-filter being cleanable. And the unit looks great - which is pretty impressive considering what it is! Also, as a bonus, the unit is light which makes it handy to move, but also really, really quiet in silent mode - perfect for light sleepers overnight like me!

I am very happy about this product. We use it 24/7 as my son have asthma. And now he feel better. Thank you Philips.... Very easy to use. Even my 2 years son can switch on/off.
