A total failure
This tv is hardware wise definitively top-notch. But its software is a disaster! These are the issues I have with my tv. I said my tv, because it seems, reading the comments in the Philips support forum, not every one has the same problems. -The graphical interface is very slow. It takes about 0.3-0.4 sec before a click of a button on the remote is reflected with a response on the tv. -The tv constantly forgets the settings. I even have to re-setup the wired (Ethernet) connection every time I turn on the tv. But also sound, picture, ambilight and 3d settings are lost. -tv software crashes very often (once every hour), picture freezes and only unplugging the tv fixes it. -I find the interface cluttered and in-logical distributed. For example there are two setup menus. One which can be reached vie the "gear" button on the remote, the other via the "Home" button. -Using the Home button (to adjust some settings for example) interrupts the show. A movie is not paused but ended. -The "smart" features are not smart! --The clock on the smart tv panel is not picking up the timezone settings of the tv. --The weather app is not picking up the location.
