About

What is gingivitis?

Gingivitis is the inflammation of the gums. It can mean they’re puffy and tender to the touch, or that they bleed easily during brushing. Left untreated, gingivitis can lead to gum disease.

Prevent

Why is gingivitis bad for me?

In its early stages, gingivitis is straightforward to reverse. But left untreated, it can cause permanent damage to the mouth and jaw, and eventually lead to loss of teeth.

Treat

How do I treat gingivitis?

If you have gingivitis, it’s still treatable – particularly in its early stages. Philips Sonicare makes it easier to reverse thanks to its continually-brushing head, which helps you get to the harder-to-reach parts of your mouth.
